Born in Moscow, Russia and having spent my school and college years there I’ve decided to try my luck in Europe when the time has come to get my first job. Munich with it’s proximity to the alps and abundance of picturesque lakes around it has become my chosen home where I feel most comfortable living.
After some years of working for various start-ups and data science consultancies I’ve developed interest in tech and have become a data engineer. I am mostly interested in software development best practices and how these can be applied to building data centered applications and work on developing my skills in this field. To keep my 🧠 balanced I also do some freelance work as a photographer on the side.

Coffee, outdoor sports, traveling and, recently, wine are things I dedicate my free time to. In winter I spend many weekends enjoying skitouring adventures in the nearby mountains with my husband; in summer climbing or windsurfing on bavarian lakes. When I am traveling to sea countries I don’t miss a chance to dive and explore the underwater world with my most trusted diving buddy Travis Shears. I am PADI Advanced Open Water certified and can dive down to 30 m.
My everyday hobby is specialty coffee, I enjoy playing with coffee gear, learning new techniques, skills and coffee history and mostly tasting all the different unique brews. I’ve gathered some experience as professional barista at Poppi Farmer and occasionally do some freelance barista work through Coffee Metaverse. I have also started learning about wine and enjoy researching different grape variatals and processing methods and tasting them in wine.
